Key Responsibilities:

Configure and manage software and hardware for LANs and WANs, with a focus on Ruckus FastIron and Extreme Wireless network equipment.

Implement best practices to safeguard data from intrusion, loss, and corruption, supporting the agency's information security efforts.

Direct the activities of a team of network administrators and communicate IT needs to organizational leaders.

Oversee the agency's network infrastructure, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, and recommending preventive measures to enhance stability.

Configure and install switches for the internal network, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of the statewide network.

Monitor network activity to maintain peak performance, manage the installation and maintenance of circuits to remote county offices, and oversee the agency's virtual servers.

Manage Office 365 tenant, including Entra and Intune, and ensure critical files are backed up. Be on call to address any major networking issues as they occur.

Active Directory Management
Group Policy Object Management
Windows Server Management

Experience leading a team of Network Administrators
