Senior Transportation Executive Sales Manager
As a seasoned sales professional, you will lead our sales team to continued success, providing guidance, development, and training to new recruits. Your expertise will be essential in driving revenue growth and developing strategies to increase market share. You will be responsible for coaching and developing new and existing sales reps, interviewing and training entry-level sales reps, and assisting sales reps with account strategies. Your ability to think creatively and find solutions will be valuable assets to our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue growth through coaching and developing sales reps
- Interview and train entry-level sales reps
- Assist sales reps with account strategies to increase revenue
- Achieve satisfactory net revenue results and market share
- Hold the team accountable for daily activity and results
- Ensure employees maintain the highest level of integrity
- Coordinate support staff allocation to high-volume accounts
- Monitor sales reports and communicate trends to senior leadership
Requirements:
- At least 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in a non-asset freight brokerage
- 3-5 years of sales management experience, leading a team of 5+
- Demonstrated ability to coach, lead, and motivate others
- Strong negotiation skills and willingness to go above and beyond for customers
- Self-driven with a desire to succeed
- Ability to think creatively to find solutions
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, supply chain, or similar field is a plus
