Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medication Technician to join our team at Sea Mar Community Health Centers. As a Medication Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by dispensing and documenting medications in a timely and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispense and document oral, topical, and inhalation medications to residents
  • Monitor for drug reactions and report any problems to the nurse
  • Assist the Licensed Nurse (LN) in measuring vital signs, de-escalating behavioral issues, and receiving and following up on phone messages
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide the best possible outcomes for residents
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • DSHS Nurse Delegation training
  • Ability to calculate medication dosages and perform simple conversions
  • Experience working with residents with mental health, behavioral health issues, and dementia
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
