MedTeam Staffing is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for collecting and processing blood and other specimens for laboratory testing. This is a contract to hire opportunity with potential for permanent placement.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect and process blood and other specimens for laboratory testing
Label, centrifuge, and store specimens according to established procedures
Explain the process of venipuncture and other specimen collection procedures to patients
Demonstrate proper technique for blood draws and other specimen collection procedures
Maintain accurate records of specimen collection and processing

Requirements:

Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed
Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
High School Diploma or GED
