Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician II at Seattle Children's, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications to our patients. This position requires a high level of expertise in medication preparation, distribution, and control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and distribute medications to patients, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Participate in the training of pharmacy staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Engage in innovation and improvement activities to enhance the pharmacy's operations and patient care.
  • Control and manage inventory, ensuring that medications are stored and dispensed correctly.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Perform data entry and record-keeping functions, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Graduation from a Washington Board of Pharmacy accredited pharmacy technician training program or equivalent.
  • Ability to speak, read, and understand English.
  • Current Washington State Pharmacy Technician Certification.

Compensation and Benefits

$25.73 - $41.64 per hour. This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors, including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
