Director of Student Engagement and Conduct

Emory University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to serve as the Director of Student Engagement and Conduct. This key role will play a critical part in shaping the academic and personal growth of students within the law school community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to promote student engagement and well-being.
  • Provide guidance and support to students on academic and personal matters.
  • Manage the conduct process for the law school, ensuring a fair and equitable approach.
  • Develop and implement wellness programs to promote student health and well-being.
  • Supervise and mentor student employees and staff members.
  • Participate in university committees and working groups to advance student affairs and conduct initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor degree and active membership in a state bar.
  • Five years of legal practice experience, with a focus on student affairs and conduct.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse constituencies, including students, faculty, and staff.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in higher education, particularly in student affairs and conduct.
  • Knowledge of Title IX requirements and administration.
  • Demonstrated experience with wellness programs and student engagement initiatives.
