Job Title: Senior Forensic Structural Engineer

Thornton Tomasetti is seeking a highly skilled Senior Forensic Structural Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our forensic engineering practice, you will be responsible for investigating problems in the built environment and providing evidence-based solutions founded on rigorous science and physics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct structural investigations of existing buildings and design remedial repairs for deficient conditions.
  • Assist with damage assessment and cause and origin investigations.
  • Perform required calculations and design.
  • Prepare field notes, feasibility studies, cost analyses, and specifications.
  • Work with a multi-discipline team of design professionals.
  • Complete technical and investigative reports to support forensic findings and prepare materials related to presentations.

Requirements:

  • Degree (Master's preferred) in structural engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer's License preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the US and internationally.
