Job Overview

Blue Energy is seeking a highly skilled Senior Nuclear/Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and constructing nuclear power plants, ensuring they meet the highest safety and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop nuclear power plant systems, including piping, structural, and electrical/I&C systems.
  • Work closely with our Engineering and Construction sub-contractors to identify and resolve quality, communication, and schedule issues.
  • Collaborate with the Licensing Team to ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges during the design and construction phase.
  • Lead special projects, such as setting up the QA Program or drafting Topical Reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of engineering experience, with at least 3-5 years focused on plant design and construction.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
  • Familiarity with industry codes and standards, such as ASME and IBC.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles related to power plant design.
