Job Title: Senior Nuclear/Mechanical Engineer

Blue Energy Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Nuclear/Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, and executing nuclear power plant projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with our engineering and construction sub-contractors to identify and resolve quality, communication, and schedule issues.
  • Proactively provide support to our licensing team and identify potential risks and challenges that may arise during the design and construction phase.
  • Supervise and lead a team of engineers and contractors to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Actively participate in construction and commissioning activities, including frequent and extended trips to the construction site.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of engineering experience, with at least 3-5 years focused on plant design and construction.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Familiarity with industry codes and standards, such as ASME and IBC.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles related to power plant design, including piping, structural, and electrical/I&C systems.
