Prevention Links Inc is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Prevention Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing primary prevention programs, community education initiatives, and training programs.
Key Responsibilities- Program Development: Design and deliver community education programs to staff, students, the general public, professionals, and volunteers.
- Program Evaluation: Develop and implement assessments and surveys to track and measure program impact and outcomes.
- Community Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with schools, other agencies, and community partners.
- Reporting and Data Management: Compile statistical information and complete monthly and quarterly reports for assigned grant programs/projects.
- Training and Development: Develop and maintain a database of current and prospective training contacts and locations.
- Community Outreach: Participate in primary prevention speaking engagements and represent the agency in the community.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: Experience related to prevention, education, community health education, and public health preferred.
- Language: Bilingual Spanish preferred.
- Travel: Domestic travel may be required for this full-time position.
- Availability: Must be available evenings and weekends.
