Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and supervise production staff to ensure timely and accurate processing of goods.
- Establish and maintain efficient production workflows, ensuring optimal use of resources and minimizing waste.
- Monitor production goals, sales, and inventory levels to inform strategic decisions.
- Supervise staff, including training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions, in accordance with company policies.
- Manage payroll, benefits, and other personnel-related functions with confidentiality and attention to detail.
- Assist with receiving and processing donations, including tracking and inventory management.
- Ensure the maintenance and proper use of equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Develop and implement safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of progressively responsible material handling experience, including one year in a lead capacity, or equivalent.
- Valid Class C California Driver's License and forklift operation certification required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, as well as work in a fast-paced environment with occasional exposure to dust, dirt, and fumes.
The work environment is varied, with occasional periods of high activity and demand. The job requires some emotional effort, including occasional short deadlines and working independently with minimal supervision.
