Position Summary
The Clinical Sales Specialist plays a pivotal role in preparing for product launches and fostering brand awareness and acceptance within designated regions. This position involves engaging with a variety of stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, hospital personnel, pharmacists, and administrative staff, through well-balanced presentations that incorporate approved clinical data.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively to convey brand value and drive product adoption, aiming to meet or exceed business objectives within the territory.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key accounts, positioning yourself as a knowledgeable resource and expert.
- Conduct customer engagement sessions utilizing both in-person and virtual platforms to deliver impactful messaging.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create comprehensive account strategies that align with market access and sales operations.
- Navigate complex situations with ease, striving for constructive outcomes.
- Understand the payer landscape in your territory, focusing on insurance coverage and formulary access.
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations while supporting patient access initiatives.
- Travel as needed, with potential overnight stays up to 25% or more based on territory requirements.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in business or life sciences, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. An MBA or MS is preferred. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the life sciences, biopharmaceutical, or medical device sectors, with at least 3 years in field-based account management, ideally within pharmaceutical sales targeting hospitals and specialty accounts. Experience in Allergy/Immunology markets and product launches is highly desirable.

- Proven ability to influence and motivate diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both in-person and virtually.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets.
- Strong understanding of customer needs, fostering relationships built on trust and credibility.
- Familiarity with local Key Opinion Leaders and industry dynamics is advantageous.
- Ability to analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth.
Additional Information
This role requires a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Candidates must meet credentialing requirements for access to various medical facilities and institutions. Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations is essential.
