Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Scheduler Specialist to join our team at The Center for Orthopedic and Research E. As a key member of our scheduling department, you will be responsible for coordinating schedules of multiple resources, including outside facilities, and gathering pertinent information from insurance carriers and physicians.

The estimated salary for this position is around $75,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Schedule Management: Schedule surgeries within 48 hours of the order being signed and schedule all pre-op and post-op appointments for patients.
  • Patient Support: Provide ongoing communication with patients regarding pre-certification, authorization, financial counseling, and scheduling process.
  • Schedule Maintenance: Update system for any changes or additions to the schedule and accurately update patient information in the practice management system and EMR.
