Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sterile Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team at The Center for Orthopedic and Research Excellence. This role will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of sterile supplies throughout our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sterile Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and stock sterile supplies in accordance with established procedures.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory levels, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Supply Distribution: Ensure timely delivery of sterile supplies to designated areas, including OR suites, PACU/Pre-Op, Med Surg, Materials Room, and Ancillary Room.
  • Ordering and Procurement: Place orders for sterile supplies as needed, in collaboration with the procurement team.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with sterilization protocols and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of experience in perioperative services preferred.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and knowledge of Universal Blood and Body Fluid (UBBF) precautions.

Benefits

  • Competitive Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day, with occasional evenings and weekends required. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
