Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MEP Commissioning Engineer to join our team. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and commissioning HVAC systems in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and install HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive system testing to ensure optimal performance and compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, project managers, and contractors, to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to HVAC systems, including mechanical and electrical components.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation regarding system design, installation, testing, and maintenance procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in HVAC technology and industry trends to ensure the provision of innovative solutions.
  • Regularly inspect HVAC systems to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance measures.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, etc.), construction management, or relevant experience in mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the design, installation, and commissioning of HVAC systems - preferably as a commissioning agent/authority in the MEP space.
  • Proficient knowledge of HVAC systems, including mechanical and electrical components.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly and effectively resolve technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in the use of computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant engineering tools.
  • A strong commitment to health and safety, with knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
  • A proactive and innovative approach, with the ability to stay abreast of the latest advancements in HVAC technology and industry trends.
