Job Description

Ladgov Corporation is seeking a skilled Firearms Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Security Forces Squadron, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our shooting ranges.

This part-time position requires a basic understanding of firearms safety principles and experience in commercial or industrial cleaning. Familiarity with how shooting ranges operate, including range protocols, rules, and procedures, is also essential.

The estimated salary for this role is $25-30 per hour, depending on experience. Based on a 20-hour workweek, the annual salary would be approximately $51,200-$62,400.

Responsibilities:

  • Remove loose debris from the floor of the range using a vacuum equipped with a HEPA filter.
  • Conduct wet decontamination of exposed non-porous surfaces in the range using water and mild surfactant.
  • Prevent introduction of water to the bullet trap and auger system.
  • Floor drains in the range will be blocked to prevent discharge of fluid.
  • Complete air monitoring for respirable metal (lead and chromium) dust during maintenance operations.
  • Develop a list of damaged items or items requiring replacement and submit to the customer.
  • Sample waste generated for RCRA metals to determine if it is a characteristic hazardous waste.
  • Remove debris accumulated in the floor drain in the bullet trap area annually.
