Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Specialist - Chemical Plant Operations
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Mid-State Machine. As an essential member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our chemical plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections, lubrication, and adjustments on equipment to maintain optimal performance and efficiency.
- Identify potential issues and implement corrective measures to prevent downtime and ensure safe operations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and inspection reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Address service requests and diagnose equipment malfunctions to restore functionality and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with technicians and tradespeople for complex repairs and troubleshoot industrial, mechanical, and control systems.
- Respond to emergency situations like equipment breakdowns or safety hazards to ensure swift resolution and minimize disruption to operations.
- Update management on repair progress and status to ensure transparency and accountability.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school certification in maintenance or welding is preferred.
- Proven industrial maintenance experience in chemical plant environments.
- Proficiency in preventive and corrective maintenance techniques.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in industrial, mechanical, and control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Skilled in various welding processes and techniques.
- Commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
Work Environment:
This role requires working in an industrial setting with exposure to extreme temperatures, hazardous materials, and loud environments. You will be required to wear fire-resistant clothing and work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
Salary:
The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
