High-Tech Security Systems Installation and Maintenance Specialist

About the Job: We're seeking a highly skilled Security System Installation and Maintenance Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves driving to commercial client sites in a company-issued vehicle to perform service, repair, troubleshoot, and detect access control equipment and IP-based video security systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive to Commercial Client Sites: Utilize a company-issued vehicle to travel to various commercial locations for service, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
- System Troubleshooting: Identify issues with access control equipment and IP-based video security systems, applying the most effective solutions consistent with company standards.
- Physical Security Systems Repair: Ensure operability and compliance with applicable building codes by repairing physical security systems as needed.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service-related issues, adhering to company documentation guidelines.
- Tool Proficiency: Demonstrate expertise in using hand and power tools, analog and digital test equipment, and CCTV testing devices safely.
- Communication: Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers, providing top-notch support.
Requirements:
- NICET 1 Certification or Equivalent: Possess NICET 1 certification or be willing to obtain it within a specified timeframe.
- Commercial Electronic Security Experience: Have 2-3 years of experience servicing various commercial electronic security systems, including access control, video management, intrusion detection, and fire systems/alarms.
- On-Call Rotations: Be prepared to participate in rotational on-call shifts to respond to emergency service calls.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Showcase strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively diagnose and resolve system issues.
- Mechanical and Electronic Aptitude: Demonstrate proficiency in working with mechanical and electronic systems.
- Lifting and Mobility: Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work at heights of up to 16'.
- Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid state driver's license with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record, and minimum required insurance coverage.
- Education: High School Degree or equivalent is required.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum (based on location and experience)
