Job Summary

The Sales Executive represents Hma INC by selling all lines of Hma INC business, including Medical, Dental, Vision, and various solution products and programs targeted in the 100+ employee market. This role is primarily responsible for educating and partnering with producers in Western and Central WA to grow Hma INC's book of business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a long-term strategic plan to win business, including maintaining a top prospect list and sales pipeline.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and expertise regarding self-insured funding options.
  • Develop producer relationships and strategically manage your territory, selling exclusively through the broker/producer distribution channel.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to ensure client satisfaction throughout the onboarding process and beyond.
  • Be an ambassador for Hma INC across the communities we serve.
  • Drive new business by meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Successfully manage and build relationships with producers and clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5-7+ years of sales experience required.
  • 5+ years in employee benefits required.
  • A proven record of accomplishment achieving sales goals and transitioning accounts.
  • Ability to engage in community/networking opportunities outside of normal business hours.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective business relationships.
  • Displays an enthusiastic, fully committed, and self-directed approach to work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas and negotiate all areas related to sales functions.
Compensation

The base salary range for this position in the greater Seattle area is $109,000 - $144,000 and varies dependent on geography, skills, experience, education, and other job or market-related factors. Performance-based incentive bonus(es) is available. In addition, Hma INC provides a generous total rewards package for full-time employees that includes: seventeen (IC) days paid time off; eleven paid holidays, one paid personal and one paid volunteer day; company-subsidized medical, dental, vision, and prescription insurance; company-paid disability, life, and AD&D insurances; voluntary life insurances; HSA and FSA pre-tax programs; 401(k)-retirement plan with company match; wellness incentive and reimbursement; remote work and continuing education reimbursements; discount program; parental leave; and a charitable giving match.
