Job Summary

As a Medical Laboratory Assistant at Facility NorDx, you will serve as a liaison between patients and our laboratory team. Your key responsibilities will include specimen collection, phlebotomy, specimen processing, and order entry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and process specimens in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Follow all laboratory procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to achieving departmental and system-wide goals.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills and work effectively as a team member.
  • Provide excellent communication and interpersonal skills with laboratory personnel and customers.
  • Deliver ethical and professional service to all customers.
  • Be flexible and able to work various shifts, including holidays and weekends, as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • License/Certifications: PBT/MLA certification preferred. Acceptable certification agencies include ASCP, AMT, and NHA.
  • Experience: Must have technical training as a Phlebotomist through a recognized program.
