Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and participate in therapeutic milieu
  • Accurately and timely document patient information, including AFS, progress notes, and observation sheets
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with patients, while maintaining boundaries
  • Participate in patient rounds and teams, and complete patient care assignments
  • Identify and de-escalate crisis situations, utilizing non-verbal and verbal techniques
  • Communicate changes in patient status to the Registered Nurse
  • Follow established Nursing policies, procedures, and protocols
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Prefer two years of college plus one year of clinical experience, preferably in a psychiatric setting
  • Licensure: N/A
  • Skills: Verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work in collaboration with others
