Job Title: Part Time Therapist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Part Time Therapist to join our team at Mental Health Matters in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality mental health services to our clients, working collaboratively with our team to deliver exceptional care. As a Part Time Therapist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients and contribute to the growth and development of our organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create, and implement treatment plans, and complete ongoing documentation according to company policy.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and collaborate with a diverse team to further the mission of Mental Health Matters.
  • Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals.
  • Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol.
  • For Full-Time status clinicians, maintain a caseload of a minimum of 25 client visits per week.
  • Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other staff, and school staff as needed.
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings.
Requirements:
  • Candidates must have a master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university.
  • Candidates must have independent clinical licensure (LICSW/LMHC) in Massachusetts.
  • Required experience with completing assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients.
  • Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner.
  • Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base.
  • Proficient in the use of Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
