We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation and Reimbursement Specialist to join our team at Resource Corporation of America. As a Liability/Claim Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate reimbursement for our clients.

**Job Summary:**

  • This is a full-time position that requires strong organizational and communication skills.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Investigate and verify all details related to motor vehicle accidents (MVAs), including verifying that patients received medical treatment within the required timeframe.
  • Initiate and complete the lien process, which includes creating the Notice of Claim of Lien, having it notarized, and filing it at the county courthouse.
  • Notify insurance companies and/or attorneys of any liens filed or released, providing copies of the lien filing as needed.
  • Maintain regular communication with insurance companies, attorneys, adjusters, patients, and other stakeholders to ensure maximum reimbursement.
  • Verify that reimbursement payments match the balances shown.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Previous experience in an office environment, preferably in a healthcare or legal setting.
  • Strong customer service skills, including face-to-face interaction and phone skills.

  • Adaptability and willingness to change processes as needed.
  • Able to multitask effectively.
