Job Title: Compensation Specialist

About the Role:

XLP LLC is seeking a highly skilled Compensation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for facilitating the entire payroll process, including processing and paying biweekly payrolls, gathering payroll data for financial statements, and coordinating time-off systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process and pay biweekly payrolls for over 800 employees.
  • Gather payroll data for inclusion in financial statements and reports.
  • Coordinate and maintain time-off systems, responding to manager and employee issues and corrections.
  • Handle 401(k) filings and administration.
  • Process unemployment paperwork and insurance for terminated employees.
  • Assist with health and benefits enrollment.
  • File multiple worksite reports, 1099s, EEOC, etc.
  • Collaborate with the HR Manager on workers' compensation payroll verifications.
  • Assist with FMLA, LTD & STD processes and paperwork.
  • Help maintain the company-wide Wellness Program.
  • Organize and host employee and customer functions and events.

Requirements:

  • A high school degree or GED certification is required; a bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience with Paycom is a plus.
  • Knowledge of personnel recruitment, selection, compensation, labor relations, and negotiation principles.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel and programming skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
