Weiman Products LLC is seeking a highly skilled Tablet Press Operator to join our team in Somers, WI. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for operating tablet presses and ensuring the production of high-quality tablets.

About the Job

As a Tablet Press Operator, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Operating multiple tablet presses simultaneously to meet production demands.
  • Maintaining equipment efficiency and performing routine quality testing of products.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues with tablet presses, collaborating with the maintenance department as needed.
  • Performing daily start-up and shutdown procedures for the manufacturing area.
  • Providing training and guidance to new employees on tablet press operation and safety protocols.

You will work closely with our team to ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong listening and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to operate a forklift (certification a plus).
  • Full English proficiency (bilingual in English and Spanish a plus).
Physical Requirements

This role requires:

  • Extended periods of standing.
  • Frequent lifting and moving items weighing up to 60 pounds.
Work Environment

As a Tablet Press Operator, you will work in a manufacturing environment with varying chemical hazards. You must be able to follow safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment as required.
