We are seeking an experienced Center Operations Manager to join our team at the Palo Verde Community College District. In this key leadership position, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Needles Center, ensuring seamless coordination and implementation of activities, programs, and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and coordinate the operations and activities of the Needles Center
  • Ensure compliance with established guidelines, standards, requirements, policies, and procedures
  • Serve as a liaison to community agencies, schools, special programs, and interest groups affecting programs and services offered to Needles Center students
  • Provide technical assistance regarding assigned functions and assist in the formulation and development of policies, procedures, and programs
  • Facilitate students' matriculation process, financial aid, and other eligible student support services
  • Lead, train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel
  • Maintain effective communications with other District offices, personnel, students, and the public

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent
  • Two years of related work experience
  • Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, ethnic, racial, age, national origin, religious, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, and socio-economic backgrounds of students, faculty, administrators, and personnel

About the Role:

This is a Management position with a salary range of $65,075 - $111,298 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. The district offers an attractive package of fringe benefits, including medical, prescription, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as 96 hours of sick pay, 56 hours of personal leave, and 24 hours of family illness.
