Position Overview

Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic caregiver to enhance our expanding team. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, a warm personality, and the capability to deliver various levels of assistance to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist elderly patients or individuals recovering from medical procedures with personal hygiene, including showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
  • Ensure clients adhere to their prescribed medication schedules.
  • Support clients with mobility within the home and during outings (e.g., medical appointments, walks).
  • Facilitate personal care and hygiene needs.
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals.
  • Accompany clients for shopping or handle shopping tasks on their behalf.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties.
  • Document any unusual occurrences and respond promptly and responsibly in emergencies.
  • Engage clients in essential daily living activities, including meal assistance and serving.
Qualifications
  • Passion for working in a one-on-one environment, with a desire to learn and develop new skills.
  • Ability to fulfill all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
  • Demonstrated capacity to act with compassion and support.
  • Availability for various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care settings.
  • Commitment to upholding health and safety standards.
  • Supportive and caring demeanor.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, along with experience as a caregiver.
  • Dedication to delivering high-quality care.
  • Experience with Hoyer Lifts, as applicable to client needs.
