Caregivers for Seniors

Job Summary:

Home Instead is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to provide non-medical care and support to seniors in their homes. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of aging adults, promoting their independence, and ensuring their dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and conversation to seniors, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and medication reminders to promote a safe and healthy living environment.
• Offer assistance with grooming, bathing, and toileting, as needed, to maintain the senior's personal hygiene and dignity.
• Provide Alzheimer's care and support, using person-centered approaches to engage and stimulate seniors with dementia.
• Assist with daily living activities, such as dressing, feeding, and mobility, to promote the senior's independence and well-being.

Requirements:

We are looking for individuals who are compassionate, patient, and able to work independently. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
