Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic caregiver to become a vital part of our team. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, a warm personality, and the capability to deliver various levels of assistance to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Assist elderly clients or those recuperating from medical procedures with personal hygiene, including showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Ensure clients adhere to their prescribed medication schedules.
- Support clients with mobility within their homes or during outings (such as medical appointments and walks).
- Provide assistance with personal care and hygiene needs.
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals.
- Accompany clients for shopping or handle shopping tasks on their behalf.
- Perform light housekeeping duties.
- Document any unusual occurrences and respond promptly and responsibly in emergencies.
- Facilitate essential daily living activities, including meal assistance and serving.
- Enjoy working in a one-on-one environment and demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow.
- Ability to fulfill all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
- Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Exhibit a compassionate and supportive demeanor.
- Availability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Minimum of one year of experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care settings.
- Commitment to maintaining health and safety standards.
- Demonstrate a supportive and caring attitude.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience as a caregiver.
- Take pride in delivering high-quality care.
- Experience with Hoyer Lifts (specific to client needs).
