Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Education Support Specialist to join our team at ProCare Therapy.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing classroom activities, promoting a supportive learning environment for students with diverse needs.
  • Collaborate with small groups and individual students to facilitate their learning and development, leveraging creativity and imagination to engage them.
  • Supervise students during play and other activities, maintaining a safe and positive atmosphere that fosters growth.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1+ years of experience as a paraprofessional or special education professional.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students who require additional support.
