Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee various employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans.
- Manage the processes for benefits enrollment and termination, ensuring timely and accurate updates to employee records.
- Collaborate with insurance providers and third-party administrators to address issues and guarantee quality service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with relevant federal and state regulations, including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and ACA.
- Prepare and submit necessary regulatory reports and filings.
- Maintain precise records and documentation associated with benefits administration.
- Address employee inquiries regarding benefits plans, coverage details, and claims processes.
- Conduct benefits orientation sessions and provide continuous education to employees about available options and updates.
- Create and distribute communication materials to keep employees informed about benefits programs and modifications.
- Engage with benefits providers to negotiate plan options, premiums, and service agreements.
- Offer recommendations for enhancements to benefits plans and strategies for cost containment.
- Plan and manage the annual open enrollment process, including communication strategies, system updates, and employee assistance.
- Ensure the accurate and timely processing of enrollment modifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in benefits administration or a similar HR function.
- Comprehensive knowledge of employee benefits plans and applicable regulations.
- Proficiency in HRIS and benefits management software.
- Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
