Job Summary

DCI Donor Services is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Tissue Recovery Technician to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in the recovery and processing of human tissue for transplantation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the recovery, packaging, and labeling of human tissue
  • Work collaboratively with the recovery team to ensure efficient and effective tissue recovery
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to strict aseptic protocols
  • Assist in the restoration of donors and decontamination of recovery rooms and instruments
  • Work rotating 12-hour shifts, including evenings and weekends
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or tissue recovery setting preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
