**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to assist with the processing and distribution of ocular tissue. The successful candidate will have a strong background in laboratory or clinical settings and be comfortable working in a clean room environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist with aseptic tissue processing procedures, including room preparation, opening sterile supplies, and documenting information into databases and logs.
- Coordinate phlebotomy services and the distribution of processed tissue gifts.
- Safely handle biohazardous human tissues and blood specimens, and assist with disposal and required documentation.
- Perform inventory management, including restocking, assessing par levels, and purchasing supplies as needed.
**Requirements**
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications, including Word and PowerPoint.
- 1+ year laboratory/clinical experience required.
