DCI Donor Services is a leading organization in the field of organ and tissue donation. Our mission is to save lives through the gift of donation, and we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Ocular Tissue Coordinator.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist with aseptic tissue processing procedures in a clean room environment, including room preparation, opening sterile supplies, and documenting information into databases and logs.
- Coordinate phlebotomy services and distribution of processed tissue gifts.
- Safely handle biohazardous human tissues and blood specimens, and assist with disposal and required documentation.
- Perform inventory management, including restocking, assessing par levels, and purchasing supplies as needed.
**Requirements**
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications, including Word and PowerPoint.
- 1+ year laboratory/clinical experience required.
