As a Construction Project Engineer at Clark Construction Group, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the technical and engineering dimensions of our projects. Your expertise will be essential in fostering collaboration among clients, engineers, architects, and project teams to drive successful outcomes. This position entails meticulous planning, scheduling, and management of technical responsibilities throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Project Managers to facilitate procurement processes.
  • Generate and submit documentation in alignment with project specifications.
  • Aid in the development of project timelines and schedules for subcontractors.
  • Contribute to the formulation of project plans and oversee material delivery timelines.
  • Evaluate and negotiate change requests from subcontractors.
  • Coordinate project drawings with the Project Manager and Superintendent.
  • Prepare change orders, cost assessments, and assist in project completion activities.
  • Conduct training sessions and manage documentation effectively.
  • Cultivate industry connections to enhance business prospects and attract skilled professionals.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction sector.
  • Familiarity with scheduling, cost management, and project oversight.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
  • Excellent communication abilities and a strong enthusiasm for the field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • OSHA 10 certification.
  • Experience with Procore and Primavera P6 software.
  • Previous experience collaborating with general contractors.
