The Project Engineer will play a crucial role in overseeing the technical and engineering components of construction projects at Clark Construction Group. This position requires effective collaboration with clients, architects, engineers, and project teams to drive project success. Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, and managing technical tasks throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Project Managers on procurement activities.
- Develop and submit documentation in alignment with project specifications.
- Assist in the creation of project timelines and subcontractor schedules.
- Aid in the formulation of project plans and monitor the delivery of materials.
- Evaluate and negotiate change requests from subcontractors.
- Coordinate project drawings with the Project Manager and Superintendent.
- Prepare change orders, cost assessments, and facilitate project completion.
- Conduct training sessions and manage documentation.
- Foster industry relationships to generate business opportunities and attract skilled professionals.
Essential Qualifications
- A degree in engineering, architecture, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction sector.
- Familiarity with scheduling, cost management, and project administration.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong enthusiasm for the construction industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 10 certification.
- Experience with Procore and Primavera P6.
- Prior experience working with general contractors.
