Position Summary:
The Beverage Service Specialist is responsible for preparing the bar for regular service and special events, maintaining the bar during service, and ensuring the restocking and cleanliness of the bar area. We seek enthusiastic individuals who can responsibly craft beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and provide excellent service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
- Engage with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks.
- Operate a cash register and manage cash transactions.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of bar and lounge areas.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with patrons.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred: One year of customer service experience with the general public.
- Preferred: Prior experience in bartending and food service.
- Availability for weekends, evenings, and some weekdays is required.
- Must complete an alcohol serving course within 60 days of hire.
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- May require prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Work environment may have intermittent noise levels.
