Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide prompt and courteous service to all guests, answering questions and making product recommendations to drive sales and enhance the shopping experience.
  • Sales Growth: Meet or exceed sales targets by effectively employing suggestive selling techniques, promoting products, and providing excellent customer service.
  • Merchandise Management: Ensure that merchandise is properly stocked, faced, and priced, and that the sales floor is maintained in a clean and organized manner.
  • Animal Care: Demonstrate a high level of interest in the welfare, health, and proper handling of all animals, and ensure that store animals receive the highest quality care.
  • Operational Excellence: Adhere to established operational guidelines and store policies and procedures, and participate in the completion of quarterly and annual physical inventory counts.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Required.
  • Ability to Lift 50 lbs and Pull 2000 lbs Utilizing Material Handling Equipment: Required.
