Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at MountainOne. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing customer accounts, and promoting our banking products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Care
    • Deliver the MountainOne Standard of Customer Care by addressing customer inquiries and resolving problems in a timely and professional manner.
    • Perform basic transactions, including accepting deposits and loan payments, verifying cash and endorsements, and issuing money orders and cashier's checks.
    • Develop and deepen customer relationships by providing responsive and timely service, and promoting our products and services.
  • Operations and Compliance
    • Comply with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including BSA/AML/OFAC regulations and guidelines.
    • Maintain accurate records and reports, including daily balances and audit requirements.
    • Prepare and review new customer account and maintenance document checklists for accuracy.
  • Individual and Team Effectiveness
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
    • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
    • Demonstrate a strong commitment to the bank's culture and core commitments, including community engagement and customer service standards.
  • Business Development
    • Identify business growth opportunities through active listening and reviewing customer account data.
    • Proactively participate in the sales referral process and cross-sell products and services.
    • Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of our products and services to effectively promote and sell to customers.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience
    • Minimum one year of banking experience.
  • Skills
    • Math literacy and fundamental financial calculations.
    • Fundamental teller transactions.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Systems knowledge, including teller and customer management systems.
    • Branch procedures, cash handling, and ATM processes.
    • Product knowledge, including deposit accounts, loan products, and features/benefits.
    • Sales process, including product promotion, cross-selling, and making sales referrals.
