Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience within the real estate or a related field.
- Proficiency in MRI software or similar accounting systems is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing monthly bank reconciliations and tenant security reconciliations.
- Ability to perform bank reconciliations using Excel.
- Experience with monthly journal entries and general ledger analysis.
- Familiarity with compiling comprehensive work papers for balance sheets and income statements at year-end.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries.
- Generate allocations for accounts payable invoices.
- Assist with year-end audits and various other audit processes.
- Establish financial statement and payroll binders on an annual basis.
- Organize accounts payable invoices from weekly check runs.
- Engage in ad hoc projects as required.
