Role Summary

The Sales and Human Resources Coordinator plays a crucial dual role, focusing on HR administration while driving sales through the identification of new business opportunities, fostering relationships with both employees and clients, and delivering outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate will possess bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

Work Schedule

Tuesday - Thursday, from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM or until tasks are completed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage phone communications, including transferring calls and taking messages.
  • Develop and implement a systematic sales plan aimed at achieving defined goals.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure all customer documentation is processed accurately.
  • Ensure that our distribution channels effectively meet customer needs.
  • Monitor new accounts to confirm product availability on shelves, including proper labeling.
  • Engage with clients for follow-up and relationship management.
  • Oversee recruitment efforts, including job postings across various platforms.
  • Handle inquiries, schedule interviews, and manage appointment communications.
  • Conduct candidate interviews, assess qualifications, and present findings to hiring managers.
  • Facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.
  • Act as the primary contact for employee HR inquiries and concerns.
  • Stay informed on labor regulations to ensure compliance and update the employee handbook as necessary.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies and best practices.
  • Assist in organizing company events, team-building activities, and recognition programs.
  • Process customer orders and invoices as required.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Minimum of 1 year of HR experience (preferred).
  • Minimum of 1 year of sales or customer service experience (preferred).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) with the ability to learn HR software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Friendly demeanor with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required).
Physical Requirements
  • Regularly required to communicate verbally and audibly.
  • Frequently required to stand and reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
  • Capability to navigate stairs.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Hourly pay rate of $20.00, dependent on experience. Overtime compensation at time and a half.
  • After 90 days of employment, eligible for sick leave.
  • After 90 days of employment, eligible for a healthcare benefits stipend.
  • After one year of employment, eligible for paid vacation.
  • After one year of employment, eligible for an employer-matched retirement savings plan.
