Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our Medical Billing Department at Bayview Physicians Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients, answering multi-line phones, taking payments over the phone, and updating patient information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide top-notch customer service to patients calling in to make payments or have questions about their bills
  • Answer and respond to phone calls in a timely and professional manner
  • Take payments over the phone and update patient information
  • Review patient balance due accounts and resolve any discrepancies
  • Navigate our Electronic Health Record system to access patient information
  • Work closely with our team to resolve patient concerns and disputes regarding their bills
Requirements
  • 1+ year of customer service experience, preferably in a medical setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of standard office equipment
  • Previous medical front desk experience a plus
