Supply Chain Logistics Manager

The Supply Chain Logistics Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations at Tatte Holdings LLC. This key position oversees all non-production functions, working closely with the Bakery Operations Manager to maintain safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards. Key responsibilities include managing logistics, inventory, customer service, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation across the entire premise, including supporting local and federal food inspections.
- Assist in staffing, onboarding, managing, developing, and growing team members in receiving, sanitation, maintenance, and driver roles.
- Collaborate with the Bakery Operations Manager to oversee purchasing, receiving, and inventory management of raw materials and other essential items.
- Lead weekly inventory counting and work with the leadership team to troubleshoot variances.
- In partnership with the Bakery Operations Manager, assist with production and operational planning, effectively managing labor expenses and waste.
- Oversee logistics for deliveries to cafes, foster strong relationships with cafe managers, and provide prompt customer service via phone, email, or in-person.
- Ensure vehicles are properly maintained and operate in compliance with state laws.
- Timely resolve issues raised by cafe management.
- In collaboration with the Facilities & Equipment Technician and Tatte Facilities team, oversee bakery repair and maintenance issues.
- Promote, model, and maintain Tatte culture, adhering to all company policies.
- Actively participate in management meetings to ensure effective communication of relevant product and operational information.
- Maintain knowledge of crisis management procedures.
This is a competitive role that offers an estimated salary of $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Required qualifications include licensure to drive delivery trucks, fluency in English, and 2+ years of experience in a medium- to large-scale foodservice setting.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience leading driving, receiving, and/or sanitation teams.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices and regulatory standards.
- Ability to implement and maintain quality systems and programs.
- Fluency in Spanish (written and spoken) is highly preferred.
