Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cooks and other kitchen personnel to ensure efficient and effective food production.
  • Monitor labor costs and food costs to ensure that they are within budget.
  • Develop and implement menu plans and recipes to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Ensure that all food safety and sanitation procedures are followed at all times.
  • Train and develop kitchen staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies and ingredients as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas and concepts.
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment and facilities are maintained in good working order.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three to five years of experience in a foodservice leadership role.
  • Proven track record of success in managing kitchen operations and staff.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
