Job Summary:

As a CT Technologist, you will perform Computed Tomography (CT) scans under the supervision of a licensed radiologist. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare patients for exams, operate CT scanners safely, and maintain a professional demeanor. You will adhere to National Patient Safety Goals (NSPG) by verifying patient identifiers for each exam. Additionally, you will ensure radiation safety regulations and immunology protocols are followed. You may work with clinical students as required and maintain and increase your knowledge of routine diagnostic CT exams. You will also follow HIPAA and corporate compliance guidelines.

Education and Experience:

A graduate from an accredited American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) approved program in Radiologic Technology is required. One year of experience in Computer Tomography (CT) is preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

You will possess knowledge of CT Radiology procedures, CT Scanners, radiation safety, universal precautions, immunology protocols, and general office software and equipment. You will be skilled in applying knowledge of CT Scanners and radiology procedures to produce contrast and non-contrast studies of all body locations. You will ensure all scans adhere to radiation safety, universal protections, and immunology. You will also be able to complete paperwork correctly and efficiently and maintain rooms orderly and clean.

Licensures and Certifications:

Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R), Basic Life Support, (BLS) Certification, and IV Certification are required. Computed Tomography (CT) ARRT Registry eligibility is required within 6 months of hire date, and ARRT (CT) must be obtained within 12 months of hire date.
