At Loma Linda University Health, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist 2 to join our team. As a CT Technologist 2, you will be responsible for conducting three-dimensional (3-D) post-processing, triaging patients, exams, and performing Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) Computed Tomography Angiography (CTA) for adult patients. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
• Conduct 3-D post-processing and triage patients and exams
• Perform TAVR CTA for adult patients
• Conduct advanced CT examinations
• Troubleshoot CT scanners and ensure all procedures adhere to radiation safety and universal protections
• Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
• Completion of an accredited American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Educational Program
• Three (3) years of experience in Computed Tomography (CT)
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R), Computed Tomography (CT) ARRT Advanced License, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and IV certification
• Knowledge of CT Radiology procedures, CT Scanners, post-processing, TAVR CTA for adult patients, radiation safety and universal precautions, and general office software and equipment
Working Conditions
This is a full-time position working nights, with a 10/40 clock schedule. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with minimal supervision, communicate effectively in English, and think critically. The ability to work in a challenging clinical environment and demonstrate self-motivation is essential. The successful candidate will be able to hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and see adequately to read computer screens and written documents necessary to the position.
