Job Overview

Position Summary

The Lead Maintenance Technician is responsible for executing skilled tasks in the preventive and specialized maintenance, repair, and servicing of heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems, and various building equipment. This role may include supervisory duties over other maintenance staff.

Work Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. On-call responsibilities are limited to after-hours emergencies.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this role ranges from $33.00 to $36.00, based on prior experience.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Conducting repairs and maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and performing remodeling tasks.
  • Preparing unoccupied residential units for incoming residents.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment throughout the facility.
  • Upholding the highest quality of life for all residents in alignment with the organization’s mission and values.

Qualifications for Success

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in building maintenance or construction, or a comparable combination of training and experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Relevant certification or license as mandated by state and/or local regulations for operating or repairing specific equipment in technical fields such as HVAC or building trades is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Availability for evening shifts and occasional weekends.
