Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Lactation Specialist to join our team at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center. This role is responsible for providing patient care and support to new mothers, with a focus on breastfeeding education and assistance.

Responsibilities:

  • Take brief patient histories and perform physical examinations as needed.
  • Develop treatment plans and explain them to patients in a clear and concise manner.
  • Provide breastfeeding education and support to new mothers, including one-on-one consultations and group sessions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse.
  • IBCLC certification required.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Prior experience in counseling breast-feeding women.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Salary Range:$34.67 - $49.59 per hour.
