About the Department
The Lactation Consulting department at UCHealth's Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion is a leading center for maternal health services. We offer comprehensive care to mothers and babies, with a focus on lactation support and education. Our team is dedicated to helping new parents navigate the challenges of motherhood and ensuring that they receive the best possible care during this critical time.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a high school diploma or GED, as well as completion of Childbirth Education training. Lamaze Certification or equivalent from organizations such as the International Childbirth Education Association (ICEA) or the International Doula is also required. Additionally, you must have BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross, which must remain valid throughout your employment with UCHealth.
