Job Summary

As a Kitchen Steward with Compass Group, North America, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen work areas and equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sweep and mop floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
  • Operate large electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers.
  • Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks and all other food prep surfaces as assigned.
  • Segregate and remove trash and garbage and place it in designated containers.
  • Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other food preparation machines and equipment.
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas observing all safe lifting standards.
  • Assist with banquet table and front of the house set up as requested.
  • Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
  • Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
  • Comply with all outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
